Animal print – what’s not to like? Ok, so maybe when someone wears too much of it at once it can go wrong, but when it’s done right it can look absolutely amazing.
I’ve always had a bit of a thing for leopard print lingerie. To me, it’s sexy, daring, fun, and naughty. I have long grown out of my red leopard bra from Ewa Michalak, so I was over the moon when out of the blue they sent me their new leopard print S bra: the S Granatowa Pantera.

I absolutely adore the colour of this set – it’s somewhere between ink blue and navy blue, and the leopard print lace fabric is slightly shiny so it glistens in the light.
The bra’s band fastens with four rows of three hooks and eyes, which is perfect as it gives several adjustment options to make it tighter or looser as required.
The little pink flower adornments are a pretty touch, and quite a contrast against the dark blue of the main material. You can see the flowers are not placed in the same positions as the stock photos, but I like them either way. The flower on the bra’s central gore has become quite squashed, however, as my cleavage has quite some force in this bra!
The matching thong is simple and elegant. The sides are made up of two layers of soft microfibre, which curl up in a very pretty way. I do find that the top layer tends to roll up somewhat by the end of the day, but I think I shall put a tiny stitch or two in place along the edge to attach it to the lower layer to stop it happening.
For reference, in these photos I am wearing the Granatowa Pantera set with my Kix’ies Lois Thigh Highs, and some platform heels from eBay.
The S Granatowa Pantera bra is made of lightly padded foam cups that are overlaid with leopard print lace fabric. The rest of the bra is made with soft microfibre fabric that has good stretch, making the bra very comfortable to wear. The cups are made of four part construction – one long section across the top, and three on the lower part of the cup. This means that the cups can be shaped very specifically to give a woman fantastic shape, uplift, and positioning of the breasts. By that last point I mean that the cups hold my breasts right at the the front of my body which, on me at least, is exactly where they should be. I do not have wide roots, and my breast tissue is all at my front, and so Ewa Michalak bras are absolutely perfect for my shape and set.
The bra’s cups have removable pads inside that are intended to help minimise the appearance of asymmetry. The idea is that if a woman has one boob larger than the other – and almost all women do, believe it or not – they can wear a pad in the smaller boob side to balance out the other. For those who have more of a significant difference between their breasts, it is of course possible to wear two pads on one side. My boobs are fairly evenly balanced and so I either wear both pads – one in each side – as I am in these photos, or none at all. I like to keep the pads in place as they give the cups additional sturdiness, which is always welcome with large, heavy breasts like mine, and they also provide a touch of extra uplift.
The bra’s wires are absolutely perfect for me. Ewa Michalak, like most Polish lingerie brands, is known for having comparatively narrow wires to UK brands, especially in larger cups. With my breasts having narrow roots I need wires to suit, and these are spot on. The wires encase my breast tissue, and there is no empty space at the sides. The central gore sits flat against my sternum and it does not rub or poke. Under my arms, the wires are just the right height and they do not chafe or cause discomfort.
The 34L/75L is a great fit in the cups for me, but the band is on the large side. As you can see from my photos, I am wearing the bra on the tightest hooks here so I could have easily sized down in the band had I known it was stretchy. I would have therefore needed a 32LL/70LL, as if you size down in the band but still need the same cup depth you need to go to the next cup up. So a 34L has the same cup depth as a 32LL, but the band is one size smaller. This system is known as sister sizing, and can work upwards as well as down.
The straps of the S Granatowa Pantera are fully adjustable, and they have embellishments along the edges to stop the adjuster sliding out of place during wear. The straps had good width to them, which is always very welcome on bigger bras, but they are made of quite thin material and so they can fold over as the day goes on. I have also found that they have stretched out somewhat, which isn’t a major problem as I can tighten them, but if the elastic is dying it means the straps have less stretch and will therefore be less comfortable to wear.
I adore the matching thong. It is simple, fun, and sexy. The double layer fabric is a fantastic touch, but as noted earlier you might experience some issues with the top layer rolling up. It’s not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of for sure. This thong is a size 20/48 and it’s on the generous side so I could have comfortably sized down to a, 18/46.
Not only is Ewa a magician with her bra designs, but she is also a genius at creating matching pants. She has such a talent for making undies that sit in the right place, stay put, and are comfortable for everyday wear as well as for those special occasions. Granted, not every style of knickers will suit every woman, but I can say with my hand on my heart that Ewa Michalak’s thongs are by far the most comfortable I have ever worn. And I am a very fussy person.
All in all, the S Granatowa Pantera set does not disappoint and it’s a gorgeous option to have in your lingerie drawer. I absolutely love it and it’s a set I have already worn many times.
