Today’s review from Forever 21+’s UK 2018 swimwear collection is the Forever 21 Plus Leaf Print Swimsuit.
I love the combination of colours used in this print. It is kept very simple as it is only green on a white background but the shades of green used in the foliage really pop against the white base. This creates a very vibrant, classy print. It would look great against most skin tones, and I was keen to see if the print of this swimming costume would look as bright and eye-catching in real life as it looks in this stock photo.

You’d be forgiven for thinking this is the Forever 21+ Tropical Print One-Piece Swimsuit, which I reviewed last month. It’s a similarly themed print – tropical/jungle – and the cut is identical.
I ordered the Forever 21 Plus Leaf Print Swimsuit in a 0X as I sometimes find the 1X comes up a bit big in F21 swimming costumes. On the label it says a 0X is equivalent to a UK 18, but I’d say it’s more like a 14/16.
As mentioned at the start of this post, I absolutely adore the print of the Forever 21 Plus Leaf Print Swimsuit – it’s so fresh and fun. And I am pleased to confirm that the print was every bit as bright and vibrant as I was hoping for.
The green hues are so pretty and look great against my pale un-sunkissed skin. I am sure this print and colour-way would also look good if I had a tan, either natural or from a bottle.
The 0X/18 in the Forever 21 Plus Leaf Print Swimsuit is a good fit on me overall, so I’d say this swimsuit is true to size.
Although the straps of the Forever 21 Plus Leaf Print Swimsuit are quite thin, they cross over on the back so they give good support and feel comfortable on my shoulders. I did not find that they dug in or rubbed at all. They are fully adjustable so can be elongated or shortened to suit the wearer’s individual preference.
The backside coverage on the Forever 21 Plus Leaf Print Swimsuit is really good and I found it to be less skimpily cut than some of the other F21 pieces I’ve tried this year. I did not get a wedgie and the suit stayed in place comfortably without needing adjustment.
As you can see from my photos, the Forever 21 Plus Leaf Print Swimsuit is a very low cut swimsuit. There is no formal boob support, so no underwires or boob shelf. Due to the snug fit of this swimsuit I found the compression helped to keep my boobs in place. However, being very busty I did fear my boobs would escape from the centre if I wore this for an extended period of time, but for short periods of wear it would probably be ok.
As much as I loved the look and print of the Forever 21 Plus Leaf Print Swimsuit, I decided not to keep it in the end as I am better off with something that has more support and more coverage on the bust. But if you’re less well-endowed in the boob department this is a great swimsuit that I highly recommend.
