Discover in-depth insights on the fit, fabric, and styling options of the Oasis Curve Floral Palm Tie Front Jumpsuit in this comprehensive review.
I have been a huge fan of jumpsuits pretty much since they came back into fashion a few years ago. However, I wouldn’t say I’m the hippest chick on the block; instead I prefer to wear clothing that is comfortable and makes me feel good.
When I was recently contacted by Fashion World to write about their range of jumpsuits, I was excited to try the Oasis Curve Floral Palm Tie Front Jumpsuit as it looked like it would be just the ticket.
Isn’t it a beaut? I initially ordered the Oasis Curve Floral Palm Tie Front Jumpsuit in a size XXL, but it comes up very generously so I reordered it in an XL and it was spot on.
(According to the size guide on Oasis’s website, an XL equates to a UK 18.)
Firstly – and most importantly – let’s talk about the fabric. The Oasis Curve Floral Palm Tie Front Jumpsuit is made from super soft stretchy jersey fabric and it’s an absolute joy to wear.
The material content is 95% viscose and 5% elastane, so the fabric stretches with your body whilst also retaining its shape really well. I do wonder if the fabric will get that annoying ‘fluffy’ look after a few washes, but so far so good.
Some of you will be taller than me and might be wondering how this jumpsuit comes up in the leg. I’m 5’4 and as you can see the bottoms of the legs reach comfortably down to my ankles.
I love the peephole feature on the central bust and on the back of the jumpsuit. I have to be careful which bra I wear underneath this jumpsuit as some are higher cut than others, but my Ewa Michalak PL Cappucci-nowy (which I am wearing here) is the perfect candidate.
The Oasis Curve Floral Palm Tie Front Jumpsuit is such a versatile garment – it can be dressed up with heels just as I am wearing here, or dressed down with flip flops or trainers for a more relaxed look.
The Oasis Curve Floral Palm Tie Front Jumpsuit is perfectly cut: it drapes softly over the body and is form-fitting without being too revealing.
To help give the jumpsuit more shape, there are thick waist ties which are intended to be fastened at the front, as per the stock image and as I have done in the photos so far.
However, one thing I wasn’t quite so happy with – and perhaps these photos don’t capture it too well – is that the waist section on the back of the jumpsuit is quite baggy and shapeless on me.
If you’ve been reading my blog or following me on social media for a while you’ll know only too well that I regularly gripe about how clothes don’t fit me properly due to my body shape. Hopefully you will have also noticed that I usually try to find a solution and that’s exactly what I did with the Oasis Curve Floral Palm Tie Front Jumpsuit.
Can you spot the difference? I simply tied the waist ties at the back instead of at the front, and hey presto, problem solved!
This really changed the look and fit of the jumpsuit on me and I was really pleased with it.
Suddenly my waist was defined and it felt like the fit of the Oasis Curve Floral Palm Tie Front Jumpsuit was vastly improved.
Tying the waist ties at the back does mean that the keyhole opening on the bust is now a little more open than before, but that’s not a bad thing, right?!
The fit across my tummy is better this way, too, as the fabric lies flat instead of being gathered.
And of course my generous derriere continues to take up space whichever way the waist ties are fastened!
I can’t believe that until this point I haven’t highlighted the fact that the Oasis Curve Floral Palm Tie Front Jumpsuit has got POCKETS!!! Not just silly shallow ones, either – these are proper decent pockets.
I think you can see from my face just how happy I am about the pockets!
I love how versatile this jumpsuit is – when I took these pictures it was a very warm sunny day and the Oasis Curve Floral Palm Tie Front Jumpsuit felt cool and comfortable. It would be easy to make it more suitable for colder months, too, by layering it with a long chunky cardigan. Another one of my top fashion tips!
You can see the print up close in these final pictures – isn’t it stunning?
I am so impressed with the Oasis Curve Floral Palm Tie Front Jumpsuit and I think I will get a lot of wear out of it throughout the year.
What do you think of this jumpsuit? Do please share your thoughts in the comments!
*** This post was sponsored by Fashion World and the jumpsuit was gifted to me, but as always my review is genuine and written without bias. ***

Do you think this would be work appropriate? I am wondering about the open cleavage and if it might be too revealing! I work in a secondary school.
Hi Rosie,
I think it’s absolutely work appropriate. If you’re worried about the open cleavage it’s not a huge slit, and you could always wear a thin lacy cami underneath if you were concerned. Boobs and cleavage are not sexual unless someone thinks they are – and that’s THEIR problem, not yours – so no need to cover up.
I hope that helps.
This jumpsuit looks banging on you, lady! I have been eyeing it up on the website for ages (my account is with Simply Be, rather than Fashion World) but I convinced myself there’s no way Oasis stuff would fit me at a size 20. But I have hope! I’ve placed my order and hope I look as good as you do in yours xxx
Thanks Jacqui! I was dubious as to whether or not it would fit me, too, but I am pleased to report that at an approximate UK size 18 I am well within the size range, hurrah!
I am sure you will look fabulous in your new jumpsuit.
I love this jumpsuit, its perfect on you with the ties either at the front or the back. I live in Cyprus and this would be perfect for winter when it gets a bit cooler in the evenings. Fortunately my mother lives in the UK so she buys my clothes and either posts them to me or brings them when she comes to visit. I will definitely be asking her to order this for me, its so beautiful.
Effi x
I am very envious of the fact you live in a warm country with beautiful beaches! And even better that your mum can help out with your fashion requirements.
Great review full of useful details as always. I always struggle with the arms of things being too tight, how did you find these? Thanks in advance =)
Hi Erica,
I can confirm that the sleeves aren’t tight at all – they’re just right and really comfy as they’re made from the same soft jersey fabric as the rest of the jumpsuit so they have plenty of stretch. I’d be surprised if anyone found them too tight.
Hope that helps.
Ooh how did I miss this post when you published it on Thursday?! Just seen your link on Twitter. I love this jumpsuit, it looks fabulous on you!! Sadly its sold out in my size but I will keep checking the website in the hope it gets restocked. I’d love to see how it looks with trainers!
Oh no, I’m sorry it’s sold out in your size! Like you say, it’s worth checking to see if it comes back in stock.
I expect I will be wearing this jumpsuit quite a bit over the coming months so I will try to get a photo when I’m wearing trainers and post it on social media so keep an eye out.
Believe it or not I just bought one of these secondhand off ebay. I was looking at it and wasn’t quite sure about it as the seller’s photos are a bit rubbish so I did a Google search and found this amazing review which convinced me to buy it. Thank you! You have a new follower off the back of this in me but I can’t help but notice you haven’t posted for a while, will you be coming back? I hope so as I would like to read your reviews of items on sale nowadays.
Anyway thank you again and I hope I’ll get a notification soon that you are posting again x x
I am very envious of the previous commenter who said they found one of these on Ebay. I have been looking everyday for months but nothing! I will have to give up I think. It looks great on you, that must be why they all got snapped up!!
I never like jumpsuit on most people but this I like a lot. You make it look good and the pattern is very pretty. I want to buy it.
Really wish we had this brand over here in the US! This outfit looks so perfect on you. I can never find a jumpsuit that’s long enough in the body for me but also short enough in the leg. I am such an awkward shape and size.
I really miss your fashion and lingerie posts, I hope you start posting again soon! I saw your recent article about Ewa Michalak’s latest releases so I am hopeful that you will make a full comeback someday. Your voice is greatly missed, there aren’t many of the old authentic blogging crowd left these days, sadly x
I saw your review of this jumpsuit and loved it so much on you that I hunted high and low for one on ebay, Vinted and Depop and eventually struck lucky with a brand new one on Vinted. It was expensive compared to Vinted things but still a huge markdown from full price. I absolutely love it! Thank you so much for reviewing it and convincing me to try something I wouldn’t have ordinarily looked at.
Omg what a cute jumpsuit! It’s such a different style to most jumpsuits I see, what a shame this review is from a few years ago as I would have bought this one for sure. I wonder if I might be able to find one on ebay or vinted – I am off to check right now!
Omg I love this on you so much. I wish it was still available as it’s got everything, great print, fab design and POCKETS!!!! A jumpsuit with pockets is even rarer than a dress with pockets, at least as far as I have found. Come on Oasis, please make more of these!
