Ewa Michalak PL Czarny Kropek Bra

As mentioned in my previous post today, some of the Ewa Michalak bras I have ordered have been for fun or for something a bit different.  These descriptions can most certainly be applied to the PL Czarny Kropek.

Ok, I am going to admit something now which I hope I shan’t regret sharing.  I have always wanted to own a ‘naughty’ bra that could add a bit of spice in the bedroom.  I have looked with interest at catalogues and websites showing peephole bras, bustiers, corsets and basques.  Unfortunately the vast majority of these have not been available in my size or have only been sold outside the UK, meaning that returning for an alternative size or refund can prove costly.  On top of this, many such items do not offer the support required for an HH/J bust and would therefore look utterly hideous and unflattering on me.

So, you can imagine my excitement when I saw this offering from Ewa Michalak: the PL Czarny Kropek:

It has a ribbon tying the cups together, which is both beautiful and naughty at the same time.  I ordered it in a 36J/80J, as I had with all my other EM bras.

The matching thong also had the ribbon feature, this time on the back.

I also ordered an alternative version of the thong which I don’t like quite as much but it’s nice to have another option:

The cups of the PL Czarny Kropek are lightly padded and covered in a pretty polka dot lace.  The ribbon which ties the cups together is a delicate pale pink and this is continued on the bra straps.  This bra has a different shape due to the ribbon and, I suppose, a lack of support/structure.  It still gives good shape and lift but it is not comparable to my other EM bras.  The straps and band are both pretty firm and unstretchy, although of course the band could be made bigger by making the ribbon fastening looser.

I felt quite a saucepot in this set but unfortunately the cups come up rather smaller than the other Ewa Michalak bras I own and therefore this will never be an everyday bra for me.  I would recommend anyone wanting to order this style to go up at least one cup size, possibly two.

I think I would be too nervous to wear the bra for an extended period in public (underneath my clothes, of course!) in case the ribbon or loops failed – being braless in public is not a thought I relish!  But it is very lovely and I look forward to wearing it for someone special, should I ever find him…

I never realized before that the ribbon could be loosened or tightened to change the size of the band. I imagine that would also turn the cups a bit (if you tightened it at the bottom) which would be the same as the alteration I usually have to do on my bras… Could save some time! But I guess it's not as useful if you are in constant terror of the whole thing exploding off ha ha
