I have not written a lingerie review for a little while. The reason for this is that for a time I did not have any new lingerie, nor had I tried anything on, so there was nothing to write about. However, I’m delighted to report that I have had several deliveries of gorgeous new lingerie arrive within days of each other so you can expect quite a few blog posts about it over the coming weeks!
It’s been a few months since I last wrote an Ewa Michalak review. Fortunately, one of my recent lingerie deliveries was a selection of EM items to try, including this beauty: the Ewa Michalak PL Milady:

I loved this design when I first saw it on the Ewa Michalak Facebook page some months ago. There’s something about the sexy black lace overlaid on fuchsia pink fabric that really caught my eye.
My last Ewa Michalak order was for 30KK/65KK bras. These seemed to fit fairly well but I was keen to try 30L/65L for size. I also went for the regular briefs in 44/16 to complete the set:
I was SO excited when my parcel arrived and I couldn’t wait to try everything on! These photos were taken a few weeks later so I have worn the bra several times and I can confirm that it is really comfortable and very supportive.
The lightly padded foam cups are overlaid with a pretty floral black lace. I love how the lace doesn’t quite meet the top edge of the cups, meaning that there is a peek of fuchsia fabric poking out. This seems to frame the cups somehow and has a very pretty effect.
As seems to be the norm with EM’s PL bras now, the cups have removable pads (see above photo) which can either be used to correct asymmetry or to offer a bit of extra uplift.
The photos show me with the pads in place, which is how I have been wearing the bra but I see that actually on this occasion they make the cups appear slightly too small as I have a hint of quadraboob so next time I wear the PL Milady I am going to try it without the pads. It’s worth noting that these photos were taken a week before ‘lady time’ so it’s likely that my breasts were a little swollen and therefore larger than usual, which could explain for the cup size seeming slightly off.
The band is smaller than some of my previous 30/65s and therefore I usually have to wear an extender with this bra (although the pic from the back shows me wearing the bra without an extender). I wear it on the tightest setting so in fact the band is only one or two rows of eyes too small for me so it’s not far away from fitting. I think a 32/70 would have been too big and wouldn’t have lasted long enough before stretching out. Already I have noticed the 30/65 band has stretched a little so I am sure it won’t be long before I can be extender-free!
The band fastens with three hooks and eyes and there are four rows of eyes so plenty of room to move up as the band loosens with wear.
The straps are half adjustable but I suspect it would be possible to force the adjuster onto the front section if required. There is a pretty little bow about halfway up the straps, which separates the front patterned section, which is adorned with black lace and fuchsia ribbon, from the plain back section. The front section is not stretchy at all and the back has limited stretch, meaning that there is not a lot of give in the straps once you have adjusted them to the appropriate position. And the best thing is that they do not slip at all with wear, unlike some of the EMs I have tried in the past.
I am always so impressed with the shape, uplift and support that EM bras offer me. Even when they are too small the central gore always sits flush to my chest and my breasts look and feel wonderful. Of course, these effects are even better when wearing the correct size and I feel that 30L/65L is the right size for me at the moment.
I noticed that the cups come up higher on the front of my boobs than my previous PLs so this must be a design change because of the increase in cup size. It’s not necessarily a bad thing as my boobs are more encased in the bra than before but it does mean that my clothes don’t fit in quite the same way. I have to constantly keep checking that my vests are not too low and therefore showing the top edge of the cups!
The 44/16 briefs are really lovely but a little on the small side for me. The backside is especially skimpily cut so while I adore the sexy sheer panel over the buttocks I will be keeping these briefs for ‘special occasions’ only, rather than everyday wear.
I absolutely adore my PL Milady and in the few weeks since I received it I am pleased to say that it has already become one of my ‘go to’ bras.
