Forever 21+ Swimwear 2018: Plus Size Leaf Print One-Piece Swimsuit

Today's review from Forever 21+'s UK 2018 swimwear collection is the Plus Size Leaf Print One-Piece Swimsuit.

You'd be forgiven for thinking this is the Plus Size Tropical Print One-Piece Swimsuit, which I reviewed last month. It's a similar print and the cut is identical.

I ordered the swimsuit in a 0X as I sometimes find the 1X comes up a bit big in F21 swimming costumes. On the label it says a 0X is equivalent to a UK 18, but I'd say it's more like a 14/16.

I absolutely adore the print of this swimsuit - it's so fresh and fun.

The green hues are so pretty and look great against my pale un-sunkissed skin. I am sure they would also look good if I had a tan and on naturally darker skintones.

The 0X is a good fit on me overall, so I'd say this swimsuit is true to size.

Although the straps are quite thin, they cross over on the back so they give good support and feel comfortable on my shoulders. They are fully adjustable so can be elongated or shortened to suit you.

The butt coverage is really good and less skimpily cut than some of the other F21 pieces I've tried this year. I did not get a wedgie and the suit stayed in place comfortably.

As you can see from my photos, this is a very low cut swimsuit. There is no formal boob support, so no underwires or boob shelf. Being very busty I did fear my boobs would escape from the centre if I wore this for an extended period of time, but for short periods of wear it might be ok.

As much as I loved the look of this swimsuit, I decided not to keep it in the end as I am better off with something that has more support and more coverage on the bust. But if you're less well-endowed in the boob department this is a great swimsuit that I highly recommend.

This swimsuit is currently reduced from £25 to just £17.50 so get yours here now!

  1. I’m definitely going to try this, I’m several cup sizes smaller than you so I’m keeping everything crossed that it will look ok on me. It looks so good on you!

I see you in these swimwear pieces looking so happy and confident and it gives me confidence. You look so good...I can look good too! I hadn’t worn a bikini or swimsuit since childhood (I’m 37) until I found your blog and social media channels. You are an inspiration.
