I have not written a lingerie review for a little while. The reason for this is that for a time I did not have any new lingerie, nor had I tried anything on, so there was nothing to write about. However, I'm delighted to report that I have had several deliveries of gorgeous new lingerie arrive within days of each other so you can expect quite a few blog posts about it over the coming weeks! It's been a few months since I last wrote an Ewa Michalak review. Fortunately, one of my recent lingerie deliveries was a selection of EM items to try, including this beauty: the Ewa Michalak PL Milady:
I have been meaning to write a review of this dress for several weeks but other commitments have meant that I've had to put it to one side. Now I am delighted to be able to tell you about my latest Dolores Doll dress from the amazing Collectif.
With the recent bad weather here in England, my thoughts have turned to appropriate waterproof footwear, and specifically Wellington boots. I haven't owned a pair of Wellies since I was a child - I haven't really had the need to as I don't tend to go on lengthy walks in the wet. I will either stay inside, travel by car or just put up with getting wet if it rains when I'm already out and about!! But, the weather has been so bad lately, with snow, sleet, hail and rain, that I have been thinking about getting some Wellies to keep my feet dry.
A few weeks ago, I was offered the chance to try out some Wellies from Barratts. I jumped at the chance and ordered a pair of Union Jack-embellished boots. The boots I ordered from Barratts are no longer available but they are similar in shape to these:
A few weeks ago, a handful of lucky bloggers were invited to a fab event hosted by Evans: the Evans Shape Studio. I was thrilled to be one of them and duly trotted off to London to meet up with my pals.
The event was held at the Arcadia Group HQ and we were treated like old friends by the ever-wonderful Evans team, who plied us with fizzy alcoholic yumminess and scrumptious nibbles. We were given the opportunity to browse the forthcoming collections from Evans and some of their key ranges, including Scarlett & Jo and Live Unlimited.
You may have noticed I've been giving peplum dresses a try lately (you can use the search box on the right to find all my peplum reviews on here if wished). Peplums are something that until recently I thought were only for women with smaller hips but after trying a few different styles of peplums I must admit that I am quite the fan!
The one thing I hadn't found before was a peplum dress with a v-neck. I'd seen heaps of peplum dresses with a high neck, a round neck or a slight scoop neck, but nothing at all with a crossover or v-neck. You can imagine how thrilled I was when I spotted the Julia Peplum Ponte Dress on the F&F Clothing at Tesco website.
