Update: Ewa Michalak Customer Service

At the weekend I posted about a couple of problems I'd recently had with my latest order from Ewa Michalak: first of all I had an issue with the sizing of their knickers, and secondly there was a fault in the PL Onyks I received.  I hope I made it very clear in these two posts that the service I received from Ewa and her team was absolutely fantastic and I remain a very happy customer.

Since then, I have placed another order for bras.  Somehow I felt I just do not have enough already ;-)

Update: Maidenform Flexees Shaping Leggings

I don't usually blog midweek as I prefer to wait until the weekend so I have more time to think about what I want to say.  However, today I made a bargainous discovery that I wanted to share as soon as I could.

A little while ago I posted a review of the Maidenform Flexees Shaping Leggings I'd bought from Figleaves.  I have come to love these leggings and wear them an awful lot around the house.  Admittedly, I haven't worn them out in public all that much but I have been brave enough to do so twice and I was surprised but thrilled to find that no-one stared at my awful legs or laughed or made hurtful comments.

Ewa Michalak PL Onyks

The first order I placed with Ewa Michalak back in July was for a mixture of 36/80H and HH bras as that's what I wore at the time in Freya Millies and Eleanors - although I probably should have sized up at that point as the Freya Hs had been too small for a while and the HHs weren't doing the job either.

However, I found the EM H cups definitely too small and the HHs still a little on the snug side.  I therefore returned them all and reordered 36/80Js in the styles available.  This was when I found out that not all EM styles are available in all sizes and it's only the PLs (plunges) that are sold in the larger cup sizes.  At first this was not an issue as I was completely beside myself with excitement to know that soon I would be in receipt of some stunning padded foam plunge bras which gave me the most beautiful shape and uplift.  However I have always mourned the loss of the HP Czarny which sadly did not go above a 36/80H :-(

Ewa Michalak PL Toffik

I feel like a child in a sweet shop whenever I visit the Ewa Michalak website.  So many pretty things...and many of which are available in my size!

One set I bought in my first haul was the PL Toffik.  It looked so gorgeous on the EM website and I knew it would be perfect for those times when I required a nude bra.

Ewa Michalak PL Cieluś

Ewa Michalak do a wide range of brightly coloured and patterned lingerie sets.  These are appealing to me as previously I had mostly owned Freya sets which were unpadded and although sometimes brightly or interestingly coloured they paled into insignificance when compared to EM's offerings.

However, it's important to have a range of lingerie options in one's drawer so a good neutrally coloured set is of course a must.  This is where the PL Cieluś comes in.

Ewa Michalak PL Retro

So, after a few reviews on other brands, I was beginning to get Ewa Michalak withdrawal symptoms so I decided it's time to write about my favourite topic again :-)

The Ewa Michalak PL Retro is a gorgeous basic but very beautiful bra.

Gorgeous clothing from George @ Asda

I've been a bit quiet on here lately.  Work is pretty crazy and I have been spending a fair amount of time travelling around the country.  I had hoped to visit Bravissimo in Nottingham last week but sadly I wasn't able to get there in time.  I'd really like to go to a store at some point though as I would like the opportunity to try on different sizes in lots of different styles; something that's impossible to do via mail order.

However, I did get the time to visit a large Asda store near Birmingham on Thursday night.  It had a huge George section (for those of you who don't know, George is the clothing line within the grocery store, Asda) and I spent some time wandering up and down the aisles looking for bargains.

Sloggi Maxi Briefs

As you will already be well aware if you have read some of my other posts, I have recently discovered the happy world of matching lingerie sets thanks to Ewa Michalak.  However, every girl will know that there are certain times when a nice straightforward pair of comfy kecks are called for.

For the past few years, when this time arose for me I had been wearing dreadful, shapeless big pants from Fashion World.  Being 100% cotton they sort of did the job but had no support whatsoever and became baggy and shapeless almost straight away.  I decided to take drastic action and invest in some shapewear as it really does make one feel better, even when slobbing around the house on a lazy Sunday or at certain times of the month.

After a bit of research I decided the best thing for me to go for were the Sloggi Maxi Briefs 4 pair pack.

Flexees by Maidenform: Fat Free Dressing Shaping Leggings

So...I thought it was about time I blogged about something other than Ewa Michalak lingerie ;-)

When browsing on the Figleaves website recently, I happened upon Maidenform's shapewear leggings: Flexees by Maidenform: Fat Free shaping leggings.  I read the reviews (all extremely positive) and decided to order a couple of pairs.  They're far from cheap at £23 per pair but I got them with 20% off and free postage so it wasn't quite as bad as it could have been.

Now it's time for me to review the Ewa Michalak PL Perelka.

Ewa Michalak PL Black

I seem to be having an overload on Ewa Michalak reviews today.  It's something I have been meaning to do for a while so I suppose I should go with it while the muse is with me :-)

Next up for review is the PL Black.

Ewa Michalak PL Czarny Kropek

As mentioned in my previous post today, some of the Ewa Michalak bras I have ordered have been for fun or for something a bit different.  These descriptions can most certainly be applied to the PL Czarny Kropek.

Ok, I am going to admit something now which I hope I shan't regret sharing.  I have always wanted to own a 'naughty' bra that could add a bit of spice in the bedroom.  I have looked with interest at catalogues and websites showing peephole bras, bustiers, corsets and basques.  Unfortunately the vast majority of these have not been available in my size or have only been sold outside the UK, meaning that returning for an alternative size or refund can prove costly.  On top of this, many such items do not offer the support required for an HH/J bust and would therefore look utterly hideous and unflattering on me.

So, you can imagine my excitement when I saw this offering from Ewa Michalak: the PL Czarny Kropek:

Ewa Michalak PL Czerwona Panterka

When I placed one of my orders with Ewa Michalak, there were several styles that I picked for everyday wear.  These were of neutral colours and would be great lingerie drawer staples.  However, there were also some styles I ordered just because I loved them, and the PL Czerwona Panterka definitely fell into this category.

For so many years, my lingerie choices had been limited to the pretty but sometimes uninspiring patterns and fabrics of Freya bras.  I have said before that for some time I wore nothing but Millies and Eleanors, and sadly the matching briefs and thongs did not fit me so it had been an absolute age since I'd owned a matching set.  When the world of Ewa Michalak opened up before me, I was like a child in a sweet shop and could not believe the range of beautiful undies suddenly available to me.

The PL Czerwona Panterka is a stunning set.
